I've always loved photographs, at least as far back as I can remember... my favorite memories are from days spent with my Grandmother taking pictures with her 110 film camera and pouring through old family albums, while listening to the stories behind each image. I've believed from an early age that there are only two things in life that are irreplaceable: people and photographs.

I grew up on a ranch in South Dakota and spent my youth riding horses, working cattle and competing in rodeos and local horse shows. I've always been a horse lover and was a budding photographer from a very young age. You could always find me at family gatherings pointing a camera at anyone who would stand still long enough! My ranch background still comes through with my love of western photography.

I'm a member of Professional Photographers of America, Equine Photographers Network, and International Equine Photographers. My work has been published in Todays Horse Magazine, American Cowboy Magazine, and many other equine related books and catalogs.

One of my many joys in life is meeting new people and experiencing the majestic beauty of our planet. I spend most of my time shooting portraits, western stock images, horses and special events. I also stay busy attending workshops and seminars on photography to help me stay up to date on the latest happenings in the industry.

In my free time I enjoy creating images of wide open spaces, cowboys and cowgirls, and of course horses! I also enjoy riding horses and spending time with my friends and family. When I'm not taking pictures, you'll find me traveling the far corners of the United States and soon - The World! (Wait! I'm still taking pictures then too!)
